Dave's Background & Experience
Dave knows all properties are unique. No two properties — even two identical home models on the same street — are exactly alike. Homes and land parcels can be wildly different even if they seem similar at first glance, and so can contract terms, financing options, inspection requirements and closing costs. Today real estate transactions involve a lot of details from forms, financing, inspections, marketing, pricing and negotiating, it makes sense to work with a well informed, professional and helpful Realtor.
Having owned and cultivated his own Vermont tree farm for most of his life gives Dave Jamieson hands-on knowledge of our native Vermont—the very trees and land that make up our heritage. He’s lived it his entire life, and it runs in his blood.
Love for Vermont
runs deeply in Dave, as it does his entire family. With more than 30 years of experience in specialty construction, he has expertise in nearly every aspect of owning, working and building on Vermont land. Being part of the American Tree Farm System adds to Dave's deep perspective and expertise that few others can offer.
Dave is a seventh generation Vermonter, raised in Waitsfield on what is now known as the Von Trapp farm. He graduated from Vermont Technical College with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology and worked on the interstate highway system as a surveyor and project engineer. Dave proudly served with the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.
